Purse-shaped box, the cover panels of reeded engine-turning contrasting with a black enamelled taille d'pargne gold lyre and garland of ivy with butterflies, and a blue enamelled taille d'pargne gold foliate mask and panels of gold flutes on a black enamelled ground, all within opaque white enamelled borders, the sides with panels of horizontal reeded engine-turning, the short corners of the rear side and the base with a black enamelled band with gold taille d'pargne ivy leaves, within white enamel borders
