A Victorian rosewood large striking mantel clock, second half 19th century
The arched case with glazed front door within a frame adorned with vine leaf mouldings, with sound fret to the upper half of the rear door, a foliate carved apron below the white painted Roman dial with blued steel spade hands, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, trip repeat, the pendulum with cylindrical pewter bob with brass rating nut -- 20in. (51cm.) high
