With two-stage barrel (some pitting), engraved rounded lock (top jaw and screw replaced), figured walnut full stock (butt repaired) inlaid around the barrel tang with silver wire scrolls and a shell, brass mounts including pommel engraved with tulips, vacant brass escutcheon, waved three-screw side-plate, and horn-tipped ramrod, London proof marks

This appears to be a Queen Anne officer's pistol modernised circa 1750.
