Made up of two painted tin hemispheres, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the Greenwich meridian ungraduated, the ecliptic and equinoctial colure not shown, the oceans showing steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and distance in miles, the continents with nation states variously coloured in outline and showing cities and rivers, with a painted tin meridian half-circle raised ona short column to a circular tin base
