Lot Essay

A view from a high vantage point which appears modern for its date, concentrating attention as much on the vendors shaded by their canopies from the sun as on the varied street architecture. The inability of the camera to stop movement results in the blurred effect of most of the figures giving a hint of the bustle of activity associated with such a location.
