Provenance: Allison Danzig (ownership inscription on front free endpaper and on title); with two typed signed letters, dated January 27 and 29, 1930, addressed to Allison Danzig from J.O.M. Clark; and a letter of provenance. (4)

LIMITED TO 800 COPIES. The archive of Oxford University Press reveals that by 1932 some 380 sets of this cloth-bound edition were pulped. The true limitation is therefore nearer to 420. SCARCE DUST-JACKET. The accompanying letters relate to Danzig's research for The Racquet Game, requesting permission to quote from Noel and Clark's work.
