EARLY 19TH CENTURY

Inlaid overall with foliate and floral scrolls, the rectangular hinged top with stepped cornice enclosing a brown leather-lined writing-surface and various wells, one concealing two drawers, the writing-surface enclosing a further brown leather-lined writing-slope with two hinged flaps, one enclosing five concealed drawers, the frieze simulated as two long drawers above a further fitted long drawer and two doors enclosing one shelf and three shelves to the reverse of the doors, above a further long drawer and the stand with moulded rim and a long drawer, on sabre legs headed by a foliate volute and terminating in claw feet
