The abrashed deep indigo field with an angular polychrome afshan design overall within a madder red rosette and kufic bracket border and yellow floral vine guard stripes, small repairs scattered throughout, very minor areas of tinting, minor repairs to selvage overcasting
Approximately 12ft.3in. x 5ft. (373cm. x 152cm.)

Warp: wool, brown, brown with white threads or 1 strand white with 2 strands brown, Z3S, hardly to slightly depressed, undulating
Weft: 2 shoots white cotton, Z4S, one undulating, the other undulating somewhat stronger
Pile: wool, Z2S, symmetrical inclining to the right, H3.4 x V3.6/cm.
Sides: wefts alternating wrapped around two additional warps or around these and two further additional warps
