The open madder-red mihrab beneath a pale indigo stylized floral arch and above a pale indigo and madder red tulip blossom cross-panel, in a medium indigo rosette and arabesque floral vine border, deep brown meander vine inner stripe, missing outer guard borders and partial end major borders, oxidized browns, small areas of repiling and reweaving throughout, even wear, reselvaged
Approximately 5ft. 5in. x 3ft. (165cm. x 92cm.)

Warp: white wool, Z2S, depressed, slightly undulating
Weft: 2 shoots reddish wool, Z1, one undulating, the other more so
Pile: wool, Z2S, symmetrical inclining to the left, H3.1 x V5.3/cm.
