A LOWESTOFT BLUE AND WHITE HANDLE AND TWO ENGLISH MOULDED WHITE HANDLES
Circa 1760 and 1755

All of pistol form, the first painted in underglaze-blue with trailing flowers and pendant foliage from a border of pendant triangle ornament and with a stylised flowerhead to the terminal (cracked and with repair and restoration), painter's numeral 2 beneath the ferrule, 4in. (10cm.) long; a knife-handle moulded with stylised scrolls and strapwork, probably Worcester, 4in. (10cm.) long; and a fork-handle similar of slightly creamier paste, with a three-tined fork, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) long (3)
