来源
The first with paper label inscribed 'Part of an Antient Hellmet (sic) from the Acropolis Athens April 6th 1868(?)'. This indicates that it must have formed part of the hoard of armour found in 1840 in the old Venetian fortress at Chalcis (Euboea, Greece), which included many similar cowters. See C. Blair, Catalogue of the International Arms and Armour Exposition, the Dorchester Hotel, London, 5 & 6 November 1982, pp. 7-14
The second included in The Baron de Cosson sale, Sotheby & Co., 14 May 1929 (bought by Brown for Furmage)
