With turn-off barrels numbered 1 and 2 and each engraved with a band of key pattern ornament at the muzzle and a band of dentil pattern at the breech, engraved actions signed 'Boutet Directeur Artiste' on one side and 'Manuf.re à Versailles' on the other, engraved thumbpiece safety-catches also locking the steels (one thumbpiece missing), folding triggers each engraved with a flaming urn, and flattened chequered butts
