The blade honzukuri, iorimune with medium point (chu gissaki), slight curve, midare hamon, tang suriage with four holes, (rubbed and features indistinguishable), 65.7cm.; encased in black lacquered scabbard decorated with gilt coiled dragons among black and brown clouds, tsuka black wrapped, shakudo fuchi-kashira with a design of tiger and bamboo, a circular iron tsuba with the rim carved in the form of circular bamboo
