Woven in wools, depicting a king with soldiers before kneeling maidens, the background with a shepherd with lambs, cows and camels, the background with a mountainous landscape, the borders with arcaded recesses with maidens and soldiers, divided by foliage, within a later brown outer slip, cut and re-attached in various places, the borders possibly associated, the lower edge turned over by 8½in. (21cm.), re-weaving and patching, reduced in size
