The scroll handle enriched with gilding, the octagonal spout with bird's mask terminal naturally decorated above indianische Blumen and stiff gilt leaves in relief, the shaped panels to the sides painted with a horseman and attendants looking out on ships in an estuary and figures around a cross in a landscape within Böttger lustre, gold, puce and iron-red Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches and with gilt scroll and quatrefoil borders, the cover painted with a continuous estuary landscape and gilt vase finial and rim, blue K.P.M. mark, gilder's 20. to both pieces
