Lot Essay

Frederick Taylor was a landscape and architectural painter as well as a poster designer. Born in London on 22nd March 1875, he studied art in Paris at the Académie Julian, at Goldsmiths College School, and in Italy. He exhibited at the R.I., R.A. and R.W.S. He was elected R.I. in 1917 and is represented in several public collections.
