The matt silvered Roman dial signed Paul Ditisheim, Solvil, Genève Grand Prix Paris 1900 No.1031, seconds and up-and-down dial, all hands blued steel, gilt frame and train wheels, the top-plate signed Solvil Genève Grand Prix 1900, Berne 1914, 21 Rubis, Swiss Made No.1031, going barrel wound through bottom of bowl, stem-hand setting through bowl, 3-armed circular balance bridge inscribed Balancier Guillaume with Ditisheim index regulator on underside, cut bimetallic balance with peripheral screws, oversprung flat overcoil balance spring, club tooth escape wheel, the whole escapement assembly protected by glazed gilt bezel, brass bowl and gimbal, brass-bound three-tier mahogany box, flush brass handles, 'Solvil' in raised brass to front of bottom section
