The frosted silver dial of regulator format signed within the seconds dial (at VI) Louis Berthoud, and within the hours dial (at XII), No. 35, Roman hour numerals, outer minutes dial with Arabic five minute intermarkers 60-5-10 et seque, blued steel hands, the edge of the dial plate inscribed No. 35 Construite Par Louis Berthoud, 18,000 quick train full-plate movement, the top-plate inscribed Par L. Berthoud No. 35, Earnshaw escapement, three-armed cut bimetallic balance, each sector carrying a segmental heat compensation weight, all balance screws of polished white metal, blued steel helical balance spring all beneath supporting bridge will top pivot cock, in brass drum with screw-on bezel set in square plate which is screwed to the middle section of plain hinged three piece deck watch box and with ratchet key of Berthoud's second type numbered 243
