The frosted silver dial (restored) signed and numbered Breguet No. 4959, subsidiary dial for hours and minutes (above the centre) with Roman hour numerals and Arabic ten minute intermarkers 60-10-20 et seque, subsidiary seconds dial (below the centre), blued steel hands, main-frame assembly carrying twin going barrels wound through the bottom of the brass bowl and centre (hour) wheel, sub-frame assembly carrying remainder of train and Earnshaw escapement, vertical brass protection plate to inverted cut bimetallic balance with peripheral screws, undersprung blued steel helical balance spring without terminal curves and with spring clamps with levelling facility, Breguet format spring detent with jewelled locking stone clamped to brass banking block, oval brass gimbal ring with inside bevelled top edge, two-tier plain mahogany box the top with slide cover to glazed observation port, the sides of the bottom section with two inset vertically mounted chart-table securing screws, external brass drop handles, double-throw lock and key, Breguet winding key, with Breguet certificate (No. 3867) stating it to have been originally sold in 1830
