Large 2° (615 x 450mm). Engraved title and introduction, 68 engraved plates comprising 34 of the bones of the human body each with an outline plate with letters and explanatory text. (Last few leaves slightly stained, some plates with a few old crease marks to centre-folds.) Contemporary half vellum, papered boards (rubbed and soiled, spine labels worn).

A continuation of Albinus Tabulae sceleti first published in Leiden by Verbeek in 1747, the Tabulae Ossium contains life-size representations of the bones of the adult human. Choulant History and Bibliography of Anatomic Illustration New York, 1962, p.281; Wellcome II p.26.
