etching with engraving, circa 1749, from the set of fourteen in this edition, Hind's first state (of three), Robison's first state (of seven), before the major re-work and the signature, a fine impression, from the First Edition, First through Third Issues, 1749-60, published by G. Bouchard, Rome, watermark single-encircled Fleur-de-Lys (R. wmk. 5), with margins, the usual central horizontal fold (with traces of an old guard on the reverse), some pale foxing and discolouration in the margins and on the reverse, otherwise generally in good condition
