lithograph printed in olive-green, 1895, on simili-Japan, first state (of three), before the addition of the colour stones and text, a fine, fresh impression, signed in black crayon, with the artist's early orange-red monogram stamp (L. 1338), numbered 'no. 39' in pencil, from the edition of 50 in this state (there was also an edition of 50 printed in colours and a poster edition of about 1000 with text), the full sheet as published, some minor creasing at the sheet edges, some very pale, unobtrusive staining at the left sheet edge, minor rubbing in the right margin, otherwise generally in very good condition
