A Roman gold and nicolo intaglio ring
Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
The circular hoop with mid-rib, the oval intaglio cut with a lion walking to the left on a groundline; another hollow gold ring with banded agate intaglio showing a seated bearded figure of Zeus, an eagle at his feet, small damage to hoop; and a solid gold ring with burnt banded agate intaglio depicting a Medusa head with snake-like locks, both 1st-2nd Century A.D.
