A creamware 'Toper' Toby-jug
Circa 1770
Modelled by the same hand as the preceding, seated holding a jug of frothing ale and a glass, his incised white hair with dark-brown curls at the side, en queue and with a blue rosette, in washed green frock-coat with yellow collar and cuffs, white waistcoat and shirt, brown breeches and shoes, with incised green loop handle, on a shaped base (area of repair to side of hat, chips to hat, glass, cuffs and base)
