A creamware 'Sportsman' Toby-jug
Circa 1770
Modelled by the same hand as the preceding, his incised dark-brown hair en queue and with a white rosette, in green frock-coat, ochre waistcoat, white shirt and brown breeches and shoes, seated holding a striped brown and yellow baluster jug, his gun at his right side, his spotted dog barking between his feet, on a shaped base (handle, left hand and tip of gun lacking, chips to hat, base and dog's mouth, crack to hat)
