On spreading circular foot and with baluster stem, campana-shaped bowl and putto finial, the foot chased with a band of fruit, strapwork, foliage and cherub's masks and above with a broad band of mermaids, mermen and scaly dolphins within reeds, the stem chased with bands of foliage, with grotesque masks and winged demi-female figures between, the bowl chased with a scene of the birth of Venus and the cover with a further mythological scene, marked on foot and bowl
