Tapering cylindrical and on rim foot, with scroll handle, hinged domed cover, dragon and shield thumbpiece and standing female warrior finial on crenellated base, the body and cover chased with bands of entwined strapwork, masks and grotesque animals and with curved spout with mask beneath, the body cast and chased with a battle scene, marked on base, interior and cover, the finial apparently unmarked
