Circa 1745, gilt V to interior of cover
The exterior moulded with linked loop pattern and painted with scattered Holzschnitt Blumen including rose, lily, carnation and chrysanthemum, the interior to the cover painted with Harlequin, Scaramouche and Columbine from the Commedia dell'Arte, playing musical instruments in a finely stippled landscape, the interior to the base entirely gilt
