The tureen with maker's mark of Edward Wakelin, London, 1751, the liner with maker's mark of George Clements, London, 1825, the stand with maker's mark of William Frisbee, London, 1803
20e shaped-oval stand on four anthemion, scroll and stud feet and with gadrooned border, the shaped-oval tureen on four shell and scroll feet and with scroll bracket handles, domed cover and leaf-capped scroll ring handle, the liner with shell bracket handles, the stand engraved once with a coat-of-arms, the tureen later engraved twice with a coat-of-arms and the cover engraved twice with a crest within the Garter motto, all with Earl's coronet above, marked on stand, tureen and cover
