A SILVER VASE AND COVER WITH KOMAI PLATES
Stamped Jungin (pure silver), late 19th Century
It's lobed body with flared feet decorated with flowerheads and foliage with silvered wire and various coloured cloisonne, six shaped Komai plates to the body depicting temples, Golden pavilion, Mt. Fuji, ho-o birds and mandarin ducks in gilt nunome zogan, one plate signed Yoshitoshi saku, the handles formed as ho-o birds, domed cover similarly decorated with cloisonne enamel surmounted by a ho-o bird, (one bird's leg restored, minor old damage)
