The first mei: Bishu Osafune Nariie and dated Oan rokunen (1373) gogatsu bi, the second mei:.. yoshi saku, 18th Century
The first hirazukuri with kaki-nagashi-hi (large grooves) to both sides, forging pattern of large mokume, tempered edge midare but other feature mostly obscured, with nie in boshi area, tang suriage with two holes, 33.4cm, in shirasaya; and a jumonji yari blade forging pattern and tempered edge obscured but appears to be suguba, 26.6cm, overall, 64.6cm.
