A composite rapier, a stiletto, and a sword
the first mid-17th Century, the second late 17th Century, probably Italian, the last in 17th Century style
With sharply-tapering blade of fluted diamond section, the hilt entirely of iron comprising horizontally recurved quillons, pommel of hexagonal mushroom shape, and writhen grip; the second with tapering blade of flattened diamond section, the iron hilt comprising short button quillons, small side-ring, ovoidal pommel (button missing), and writhen grip; the last with tapering blade of flattened diamond section, the ricasso with central fuller on each face stamped with letters, arched quillons formed as nude demi-figures blowing horns, chiselled knob-shaped pommel, and wire-bound grip
