A 32-bore Caucasian Miquelet-lock rifle

With swamped octagonal twist barrel cut with seven grooves and inlaid with gold lines and symmetrical patterns at the muzzle and breech, the latter with gold-lined marks (illegible), copper fore-sight and standing single-aperture back-sight, gold-damascened tang, plain lock struck with a mark, slender three-quarter stock (chipped) inlaid with shaped white horn plaques, button trigger, later brass barrel band, and original iron-tipped ramrod (butt-cap and applied butt-mounts missing)
