Third quarter of the 17th century
With associated sighted swamped octagonal barrel cut with six grooves, engraved lock of characteristic form with engraved brass fence to the cock-spring and mainspring, full stock (cracked and chipped) inlaid with engraved white staghorn panels and roundels within patterns of pellets (some inlay replaced), sliding patch-box cover en suite, later(?) indented iron trigger-guard, and associated iron ramrod (fore-end cap incomplete, butt-plate replaced in wood, forward ramrod-pipe missing)
