An unusual cased pair of 80-bore French saw-handeled percussion pistols

With blued octagonal sighted barrels each inlaid with three silver lines at the muzzle and breech and signed in silver letters on the top flat, scroll engraved patent breeches and tangs, the latter each fitted with a back-sight, signed scroll engraved back-action locks, figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, and scroll engraved iron mounts (iron parts with areas of rust and pitting): in original lined and fitted mahogany case lined in plum velvet (stained), with accessories
