A cased pair of 38-bore French percussion target pistols

With partly fluted blued octagonal sighted barrels, case-hardened scroll engraved patent breeches numbered 1 and 2 in gold, tangs en suite, signed scroll engraved locks and mounts en suite (one hammer spur missing), figured walnut half-stocks carved with foliage in relief against a stippled ground on the fore-ends and fluted butts, and retaining nearly all their original finish: in original leather-covered fitted case lined in plum velvet (faded) with accessories (some damage to the interior of the case, turnscrew/nipple key defective) Liège proof marks
