With rebrowned swamped twist octagonal sighted barrels polygroove rifled, stamped '1' and '2' at the breech, and signed in gold on the top flat, scroll engraved patent breeches each with pierced platinum plug, engraved numbered tangs each with adjustable back-sight, flat locks en suite each balanced by an engraved iron plate on the left side of the stock, figured walnut half-stocks (one cracked), chequered butts carved with foliage in relief, the fore-end tips each carved as a lion-head with mother-of-pearl eyes, engraved iron mounts including spur trigger-guards, and set triggers
