A pair of 32-bore German decorative wheel-lock holster pistols
Partly mid-17th century
With octagonal barrels struck with Suhl mark at the breech (one tang screw missing), plain locks each with bevelled tail, full stocks profusely inlaid in the late 16th century manner with white horn scrolls enclosing ball-flowers, the globular butts each set with a circular horn medallion engraved with the arms of Saxony (minor damage to each fore-stock), plain iron mounts, engraved horn fore-end caps, and wooden ramrods (one horn ramrod-tip and one horn rear ramrod-pipe missing)
