With rebrowned twist octagonal barrels, the top barrel inscribed 'London' in gold and with later gold line at the breech, platinum-lined touch-holes, engraved tang, case-hardened signed and engraved bevelled locks each with roller, rainproof pan, safety-catch and stepped tail (one cock and one safety-catch replaced), chequered walnut butt (cracked and repaired), silver escutcheon, engraved trigger-guard, and stirrup ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
