The hump back case of typical form with simple line moulding to the sides and on bun feet, the top with repeat button and oval ring handle hinged on a square pedestal, the engine-turned silvered dial signed L. Leroy & Cie. 7. Bd. de la Madeleine, Paris within the centre, Deco-style Arabic chapters with blued Breguet style hands, the typical carriage clock style movement with going barrels and platform lever escapement, strike on gong on the backplate with repeat signature and alarm set disc, the backplate and case numbered 23368; original green leather and velvet lined travelling case (2)
