A William & Mary small sized ebony bracket timepiece

The plinth case with gilt carrying handle to cushion moulded top, cast gilt sound fret and scroll-and-cherub escutchons to the door, the 5¾ in. dial signed on the silvered chapter ring, matted centre, pierced blued hands, winged cherub spandrels, the single fusee (gut lines) movement with four latched ringed baluster pillars, pull quarter repeat on two bells, knife-edge verge escapement (rebuilt) with bob pendulum, the florally engraved backplate signed Joseph Knibb Londini Fecit in an upward curve
