A Young Man in a Velvet Cap (Ferdinand Bol?) (B., Holl. 268; H. 151; BB. 37-C)
etching with touches of drypoint, 1637, second (final) state, a good impression though showing a little wear near the bottom, some slight slipped printing on the signature, with narrow margins on three sides, trimmed on the platemark at the lower edge and skilfully re-margined, a tiny nick at the left edge, pale discolouration, the remains of old tape in places at the upper reverse sheet edge
