lithograph, 1893, on soft Japan with wirelines, a fine impression, from the de luxe edition of 50 (there was also an edition of 500 on wove paper), published in Le Café Concert by L'Estampe Originale, A. Marty, Paris, with full margins, some pale water-staining at the left sheet edge, one or two foxmarks at the upper sheet edge, residual mounting at the reverse sheet corners, generally in very good condition

On the stage before the spectator is the comedian Pierre-Paul Marsalès, known as Polin. There is a related portrait study executed in lead pencil, in a private collection (Dortu D. 3.372)
