The absence of any attribute apart from a crown makes it impossible to identify this female saint, although she may well have been Saint Catherine of Alexandria or Saint Barbara, both of whom were princesses. The distinctly angular drapery folds of her mantle, and especially its dangling sleeves, indicate a date around the year 1400.
