Carved as a bowl with an everted rim and a pair of phoenix suspending loose rings, resting on four hollowed lion-mask feet, set into the tall base carved as a lotus pod and raised above the inverted lotus-petal foot, the domed cover with three quatrefoil bird cartouches reserved on a pierced floral scroll band, all surmounted by flower finial, the jadeite of a pale translucent tone with emerald and moss-green streaks
