A MUGHAL WHITE JADE SWORD HILT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Well carved in low relief with graceful leaves and circular flowerheads which follow the curves and edges of the hilt, the underside of the hilt carved with very shallow and subtle finger grooves, the stone with satiny polish and of even, pale greenish-white tone
