FOUR BRONZE BELT AND GARMENT HOOKS

The largest belthook a gilt-bronze, crouching tiger with circular turquoise inlays at the shoulders, finely incised herringbone and dot bands on the sides and a coiled tail, beyond which projects the curved shaft terminating in a dragon-head hook; the second belthook faceted on top and inlaid in turquoise and gold wire and foil with geometric and angular scroll patterns; the third a garment hook cast with a grimacing monster mask biting into a ring held in its fore-paws, the shaft with dragon-head hook extending from the top of its head; the fourth a garment hook cast as a taotie mask with curved hook projecting below its mouth and a tab from the reverse, traces of gilding, the first three with a button on the reverse, the second with restoration
