Of rectangular shape with rounded edges decorated in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with gold and silver flowering grasses and turnips and radishes on gold and black grounds separated by a zig-zag edge, the interior cases nashiji, signed on the base in gold lacquer as above (by Shorinsai inside the eastern capital [Tokyo]); fitted with a coral bead ojime--3¼in. (8.3cm.) high
