The rectangular picnic set comprising a four-tier food box of square section with canted corners, a small footed tray, a rectangular drawer and two pewter sake bottles all within the carrying case set on four bracket feet, decorated with blossoms on a stream in gold, silver and colored hiramaki-e on a dense nashiji ground and fitted with a silver handle; the sake bottle separate from the set and of octagonal section of silver lacquer ornamented with a gold hiramaki-e chrysanthemum collar, the spout silver and the stopper coral-inlaid ivory--jubako 7 x 7 1/8 x 4 1/8in.
