The large box with interior tray of rectangular shape with rounded corners decorated in togidashi and gold and silver takamaki-e on a dense and brilliant nashiji ground with autumn grasses and a meandering stream, visible on the sides of the box; the interior tray ornamented with a matching scene with the addition of an inlaid silver moon, the undersides of the tray, base and interior nashiji, rims of silver--8½ x 7 x 4 3/8in. (21.6 x 17.7 x 11.2cm.)
